Oil/Filter Service- Changing your oil and filter every 3,00-5,000 miles extends the life of your car. Air Filter Service- A dirty air filter that is clogged with dirt, dust and bugs chokes off the air and creates a "rich" mixture - too much gas being burned for the amount of air, which wastes gas and causes the engine to lose power.  Replacing a clogged air filter can improve gas mileage by as much as 10%, saving about 15 cents a gallon. Tire Maintenance- Minimize tread wear, extend tire life, and improve gas mileage with proper tire inflation.  A tire that is not properly inflated may impact your vehicle's performance. Tire Rotation- To ensure top performance and safety from your tires you should make sure to rotate them according to the recommended rotation pattern in your vehicle's Wwners' Manual.

Tire wear depends on several factors, including your driving style and tire maintenance habits.  But one sure way to know it's time tread-wear indicators appear.  Many tires have tread-wear indicators that act as "wear bars".  These narrow strips of smooth rubber run across the tread and appear when it's time to replace the tire. You also need a new tire if: You can see three or more tread-wear indicators around the tire Cord or fabric is showing through the rubber The tread or sidewall is cracked, cut or snagged deep enough to show cord or fabric The tire has a bulge or split The tire has a puncture, cut, or other damage that can't be repaired correctly.
